**THIS IS COMING - NOT IN EFFECT YET** All, Due to the rising intensity of COVID-19, I will be declaring IMMEDIATE closure of: Dining In in our restaurants,... Bars, Nail/ Hair/ Spas/ Tanning Salons, Movie Theater, Arcades Consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), any community with a common transmission of COVID-19 should take the measures of closing certain environments with a high probability of transmitting the disease. The five types of businesses listed are targeted as high probability. I have asked our city attorney to write the appropriate language so that all legal bases are covered. I believe these measures to be temporary. However, this closure will on going until further notice. Updates will be regular and often via social media and our local news sources. As stated before, this situation is very fluid. We have the ability to learn from many others who are presently going through much worse hardship the us. Lets join together to care for one another and protect one another all the while remembering the long ago history when community didn’t have the luxury of electronic communications that can serve to get the word out quickly. Be encouraged that we presently have no discovered cases among us. Like Tulsa, that can change in a day and that one died. Our vigilance together can save lives.
