New arrivals on the homestead... Mochi delivered eleven puppies yesterday evening. Both mom and dad are working Pyranees.

Make note now... November 6th head on out to Ward Ranch Pumpkin Patch for food and craft vendors, car show, and family fun! They have a petting zoo, hay maze, etc We will be set up and selling our goats milk products. :) Parkin’ At The Patch

It is baby season, folks. They are cute but do your part to help keep them wild! If you find a critter in distress you can contact your county Game Warden or a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. (I am one! )

A part of showing respect for the life that was taken to sustain yours is to use as much of the body as possible. These pelts will be made into blankets, bags, hats, etc Bones are used for nutritious broth, dreamcatchers, dog chews, buttons and decor. Brains are used to tan to pelts... be thankful and creative.

We have been busy in the barn... Back into our milking routine and the babies demand their share!

We are loving our Champagne d'Argent rabbits... Fingers crossed that our senior doe, Thistle, delivers a healthy litter next month!
