Bill H. Love, of Lindsay, Oklahoma, departed to his heavenly home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the age of 89. Bill was born May 10, 1931 to Bertie Hershel & Ruby Irene Love in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and spent most of his younger years in Fredrick, Oklahoma. Vicky Lynn (Wood) Box was born July 3, 1948, in Batesville, Mississippi. She passed from this life Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at the age of 72, in Norman, Oklahoma. Vicky was born to Sidney James Wood and Cleta Juanita (McNutt) Wood. Even though Vicky wasn’t born in Oklahoma, she lived the majority of her life in Lindsay. Her dad worked on the pipeline and she traveled with him wherever he would go for a job. Vicky married Ronald Box, May 25, 1967, in Lindsay, Oklahoma.... Together they had two children, Stevie and Jamie and raised them in Lindsay. Vicky did a variety of things in her lifetime, but the most important roles she had was being a wife, mother, and Nanna. She was very devoted to her family. Vicky was said to be an avid collector. Some of her collections included coins, Barbie dolls, antiques, and Elvis memorabilia. She, also, enjoyed dancing, listening to Classical and The Beatles’ music, and watching old black and white films. Vicky had a deep affection for animals, too. Left to cherish Vicky’s memory are her husband Ronald of the home, her son Ronald Stevie Stephen Box, II., of Lindsay, Oklahoma; daughter Jamie Michelle King and husband Derek of Lindsay; grandchildren Dylan James Stephen Smith of Midland, Texas, and Cassondra Lynn Smith of Lindsay, Oklahoma; three nephews James Michael Wood, Jr., Aubrey Gregg Wood of Lindsay and Colton Drennan of Edmond, Oklahoma; two nieces Michaela Kline of Missouri and Lyndsi Jae Drennan of Lindsay, Oklahoma; a brother-in-law David Lee Box of Lindsay, and a sister-in-law Janice Claudine Drennan, plus a host of other relatives and friends. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Michael Wood. A funeral service to honor the life of Vicky is set to begin at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the Wilbourn Family Funeral Home Chapel, 308 SW 3rd Street, in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Linda Kaye (Johnston) Willmore was born January 30, 1949, to William Roy Johnston and Mac Mae (Auld) Johnston in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She passed from this life February 23, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 72. Linda was a resident of Lindsay, but grew up and attended school in Sulphur, Oklahoma, where she lived most of her life. Linda moved back to Lindsay in 2020. Linda married the love of her life Charles Vincent Willmore April 24, 1968, in Sulphur, Oklah...oma. Together, they celebrated fifty-two years of love and adventure. Linda enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. She delighted in shopping online and was an avid reader. She also loved spending her free time with her cat Sheba. Linda was a nurse first and foremost and found great joy in her work. It was more than just a job, it was something she loved doing. Whenever she was in the hospital, she was teaching and sharing things she had learned, over the years, with the nurses that were helping her. Those nurses appreciated Linda’s knowledge. Linda worked many years as an LPN at nursing homes in Sulphur, Davis, and surrounding area. Left to cherish Linda’s memory are her daughter Cindy Smith and husband John of Kansas, grandchildren Alex and Isabella Smith. Linda also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins that will greatly miss her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-two years Charles Vincent Willmore, her parents, three brothers M.R. Johnston, Charles Johnston, and Nolan Johnston. Three sisters Onetta Holman, Rosie Priest, and Noma Sullenberger. A funeral service to honor the life of Linda is set to begin at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Wilbourn Family Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest following the service at the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Curtis was born September 18, 1957 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. The eldest of 6 children to Billy Joe Self and Ramona (Brooks) Self. Surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Bulbar Onset ALS. Curtis was called from this earthly life to the arms of Our Mighty Savior, Jesus Christ on February 12, 2021. He lived in many places throughout Oklahoma but always called Velma home. Curtis graduated high school at Velma-Alma. Curtis enlisted in the Navy straight out of high sc...hool, with an Honorable Discharge. Graduated Draughon School of business. Curtis also acquired a degree in broadcasting where he worked for a while as a disc jockey in Amarillo, Texas and Woodward Oklahoma. Curtis worked in the oilfields of Oklahoma, Texas and California. In Curtis’s final years he made his living as a professional truck driver. Curtis will be remembered as a Great Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend to many. Curtis was always there to help. Curtis’s quick wit and humor will be missed. He could always bring light to a dark situation and clear focus on a tough situation. Curtis will be missed and remembered by many. Curtis is preceded by his Dad, Billy Joe Self and a solid Brother and Friend Albert (Bud) Eugene Summers and Brother in Law, Carl Vestle. Curtis is Survived by his mother Ramona. Sister, Carol Miller and Husband Mike. Brother, Mike Self and Wife Shawna. Sister, Shelly Self and Husband Sam Robinson. Sister, Stacy Duty and Husband Dorion. Brother, Forest (Skeet) Self and Wife Dawn. Curtis had many Nieces and Nephews. Alecia, Aj, Sammy, Levi, Shalynn, Billy, Tamria, Edge, Kryston, Canyon, Karissa, Brandon, Tanner, Brittany, Daniel, Colt, Kylie and Abigail. Great Nieces and Nephews Sydney, Mason, Aquira, Bryce, Ariana, Katalina, Eli, Luke, Rayden, Carlie, Reese, Justice, Eternity, Abraham, Austin, Emma and Riley. Great, Great Nieces and Nephews Kayden, Maddison, London, Reagan, Khyra, Willie, Braxton, Josiah, Layla, Clayton, Annabelle and Zoah. A graveside service will be at the Purdy Cemetery on February 13, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. Services are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Wilbourn Family Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
