This winter weather has been crazy, but it sure does look beautiful at Camp Big Cedars. Hope you’re all staying safe and warm! Happy Friday!

Jaron and Riki Cook met AND got married at Camp Big Cedars! Jaron shared their story of how they met: I was 12 years old, and I noticed this cute little blonde girl standing at the snack shack. I sent a friend to talk to her because of course I was way to scared to do it myself. They asked her to be my girlfriend, and her being so much more mature than me, said no because she had no clue who I was. Fast forward to Senior Camp when there was a banquet and things got serio...us. This is where our on again off again relationship really flourished, mostly because of the long distance of her in OKC and me in BA, and not being able to drive. From many weeks of attending and working camp and winning Most Athletic Camper together 4 years in a row (me getting 6 and her winning Queen), we really grew closer and closer. To make a long story short, camp is really what made us who we are today, and that is why last October we tied the knot at the very place we fell in love all those years ago. Camp love is real.
