Want to give a huge shout out to the team at Carter’s Powerboats for their hard work this winter getting this project done for us. Dustin, Danny, and Jennifer... all sacrificed a lot of hours to get this done for us. What we ended up with was exactly what I had hoped we would get...a cleaner more organized engine compartment. As usual their attention to detail is what sets them apart in my book. While we still have a few loose ends to finish up this winter, we chose to move forward with what you see in the pics in an effort to still enjoy what we have left of the summer. The initial plan was to pull the old power and freshen them up. The best layed plans are worth nothing more than the paper they’re written on. A little wheeling and dealing later we ended up with completely new motors and the rest is history. Again, thanks to all involved for hanging in there for us and seeing the job through to the end. Here are a few before and after pics of what we started with and what we have now. We still have a few more goodies to add to the motors to give them a little more pop. CMI headers are awaiting their installation, polished pulleys, painted breathers, and painted battery covers will all be added to the mix this winter.
