Merry Christmas to everyone!

Connor Strength & Conditioning 31.03.2021

This is the time of the year where attendance falls off, nutrition gets a little relaxed. Don’t fall into the routine of everyone else. Don’t be like everyone else. We have made it super easy for you to stay hooked up. Remember, our gym is open 24/7! The training of the day is given to you and 3 days out of 7 isn’t hard to make happen. #testimonialtuesday @killerblifts I started training August 2013. This is where I first met TJ. Before then I was extremely unhealthy and was hardly ever active. TJ took me under his wing and pushed me to continue to do more and to never give up. In May of 2015, I decided to start my home gym and began training out of my garage. During this time, I made some progress, but just didn’t really know what I was doing. I followed various training templates online, but nothing reall...y fit just right. In mid 2017 I decided I didn’t want to follow some online template and decided to start having Coach TJ provide programing/coaching. Shortly thereafter I competed in my first powerlifting meet, finishing 9 for 9 with a 1,350 total. In just three months after that I competed in my second meet, going 9 for 9 with a 1,395 total. In August of 2019, I had a training mishap that at the time felt like it would be the end of my training as I had grown to know it. We tried a few things to get me back training but kept having set back after set back. During this time, I decide to just take a break, and really not train at all. Of course, the inevitable happened. I feel back into my old ways and added on a few pounds along with being incredibly lazy. This lasted for just about a year. That’s when I decided to give it another try. Lifting and training provided me with more than just being strong, and I need it. So, Coach TJ and I came up with a game plan, and in September 2020 I started my road back. Today, my training mishap/injury is nonexistent. Not only that, all of my numbers are on the brink of being back to what they were before my mishap. As a matter of fact, I just hit a 500lb. squat in sleeves which was a lifetime PR, and 25lbs over my best squat in competition with wraps! During this whole time, Coach TJ & Connor Strength has always supported me and had my back. Pushing me when I needed and calling me out when I needed that as well. Change isn’t easy, but change is totally worth it. And you need someone knowledgeable and understanding. Whether it’s just basic training blocks or a complex meet prep, Coach TJ & Connor Strength has got something for everyone. See more
