The StellarXplorers team from Edmond North High School, coached by Ernie Sanchez, is headed to the National Finals next month. The team recently competed against 211 teams through four rounds to reach the finals. Next month, they will compete virtually against the other top 10 teams in an eight-hour-long scenario covering orbital planning, satellite design, and launch operations! Talk about out-of-this-world talent!

Congratulations Superintendent Bret Towne on your Edmond Chamber Citizen of the Year Award!!! Bret is shown with his wife Nancy, a retired EPS teacher, and other family members including two current EPS teachers! Thank you Bret for your tireless devotion to this district.

Students who will be attending our newest elementary school, Redbud elementary, got the opportunity today to cast their vote for their mascot-a bumblebee, roadrunner, or cardinal. Then, principal Evan Dargen answered their questions about the new school. Redbud is scheduled to open this fall with around 500 students at the corner of Douglas and Coffee Creek, east of I-35.

Did you know students as early as 3rd grade start eliminating career options based on what they think they can do? Francis Tuttle and the EPS School Counseling Team will be equipping parents of all grade levels to have Meaningful Career Conversations on a developmentally appropriate level.
