Tomorrow starts a new month it's time for another reminder of "Why We Do What We Do!" We do it for kids like Lachlan from Tupelo, Oklahoma!!!! Lachlan was diagnosed at 15 months old with rheumatoid arthritis. It was so bad in the beginning that she was almost completely immobile. After months of sleeping for no more than 40-60 minutes per night and waking up crying in pain, Lachlan has made a complete turn-around and can sleep through the night with no more pain. After at-home methotrexate injections once a week, steroid eye drops daily for eye inflammation and Orencia infusion every 4 weeks, Lachlan has gained back the 10% body weight she had lost and is like a totally different child from her early diagnosis. She loves playing outside with her cousins and friends, feeding Mema & Pepa's chickens!
