Hoyt has taken it upon himself to trek twice daily down to the pasture to feed this little guy. His momma doesn't produce enough so we are supplementing his milk supply. She is now on the cull list since we breed for healthy, independent Dams. Hoyt has named him Bambi. He comes quickly whenever he sees the boy with the bottle! It's adorable.
Hey everybody! It is pouring rain here at the farm today. But luckily we were able to photograph these fluffy little subjects yesterday! We have twenty-two of these guys hatched out and ready for their new brooders. They are all 4-5 days old now. They are from a free ranging, heritage mix flock. PM for more info on them! *Also, we will have more chicks soon, and possibly some turkey poults!
Peekaboo! Everybody stay tuned, spring has arrived in full force and we've got babies everywhere! We will be posting chicks, goats and goat kids and eventually cow calf pairs.
When you get your belly full and its nap time! We may nickname him bucky beaver.
Had our first black heifer today and had the privilege of watching it happen. God is so good and His creation is simply amazing!
