It’s time to overseed your shade/lawn grasses! I’ve been busy all week overseeding and composting lawns. Whether it’s rye or fescue alongside the shady side of your house, under a tree, or over your entire lawn for a 12 month green, I have you covered! First, I’ll cut and bag your lawn at the lowest setting possible. Then, compost with the best compost around to a depth of 1/8 - 1/4. Then I’ll scatter the seed and water it in. Just keep it watered daily until germination. You’ll have the yard of the month when everyone else has nasty yellow-tan colored lawns!
