Another happy guest! Amazing views and a top notch host! This was the perfect quiet getaway we needed and Chad could not have been a better host. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room inside and out. We really enjoyed the seclusion and view of nothing but nature all around the home. This is a special place that our group was very pleased to spend time at. Eager for a return trip in the spring or summer.

Hey everyone. Been some questions about using the highways around Big Cedar (63 and 259) to get from one trailhead to another. We actually had a law enforcemen...t officer stop in this afternoon and was concerned about the highway easements being used. To be clear you cannot run up and down the highways or easements. You might see trails there but stay off them please. We will be speaking with the forestry service and highway department soon in an effort to help guide environmental practices as well as drive change to current laws. So for now, trailer your machine from trailhead to trailhead. With our rentals we provide a trailer to do just that. Make sure you take a look at the current forestry service website at the mvums or download the Avenza app for your smart phone. I've also used Onx off road maps with good success. See more

From our most recent guest! "There aren’t words to describe how amazing Kiamichi Mountain Villa is! The pictures absolutely don’t do this place justice. The views are breathtaking in a secluded, remote setting. The cabin is luxury level and well designed with amazing carpentry details and much larger than we expected from the pictures. 8 of us went for a girls trip and although we did venture out a bit for hiking we found so much to do just at the cabin with campfires, games, the hot tub and hanging on the porch. We couldn’t rave more. Hopeful to come back!"

From a recent guest. This place is a MUST STAY!!! I have been to so many cabins and never experienced a more picturesque place! The views were breathtaking and the place was so clean and perfect for 4 couples to stay. The owner is super responsive and we had everything we needed for our 3 day trip. Once we got there, we didn't see or hear another person outside of our group. The hot tub was big and clean and 2 fire pits, both with a unique look out onto the mountain. With a group that is always plugged into their phones or tv, we didn't once find the need to partake in those things. We will all be coming back again!

Visited Cucumber falls, about 5 minutes south of the cabin. Nice canopied walk through the forest. Please take your trash out with you if you visit. Go north on US 259 about 30 miles north of Hochatown. When you cross the Cucumber Creek bridge, go another mile to a graveled road on the right, in a tight curve on the highway. Take that road until the recently graveled section ends. Park there and continue walking about 1/2 mile to a fork in the road. Take the right fork, which immediately fords a small creek, and continue about another 1/4 mile and follow the drainage that goes north. This is the approximate lat/long: 34.575413, -94.683680
