KTJS News April 26 A young man from Roosevelt was seriously injured in the crash of his 4 Wheeler Sunday evening at 6:26pm on a county road south of Sterling in Comanche County. Keegan S. Kenyon, 29, suffered head, trunk internal and trunk external injuries. He was taken by Survival Flight to to OU Medical Center in Fair condition. I want to brag on my choir kiddos today! These talented kids ventured to State Choir contest in Enid bringing home Superior and Excellent ratings. Thank you OSS...AA and Enid schools for this opportunity for state this year and everything you did today for us along with the other music kids attending. ~Superior Solos & Ensemble: Deeanna Whitson Darak Whitson Reyna Cousin Freshman HS Ensemble- Makynzie Morris, Jenna Holt, Reyna Cousin, Sarah Ynguanzo, Jamya Spencer, Alexa Shaddix ~Excellent Ensemble: HS Quartet- Deeanna Whitson, Jamie Pruitt, Melissa Maggard, Caelyn Pinnell We celebrated afterwards with a trip to Freddy’s and then stopped at Starbucks on the way home! (Lesson learned to never let giggly choir girls have coffee if they are riding home in my vehicle ) My Senior kiddo even surprised me with a Starbucks gift card too. Thank you soooo much Darak and you will be greatly missed by us all next year!

KTJS News April 14 Three teenagers from Hollis were injured in the crash of their pickup shortly before 9pm last night on a county road a mile and a half north of Hollis. The driver, a 16 year old girl, suffered internal trunk injuries and was admitted in good condition to the the Hollis hospital.
