Over the last three days Nichols Hills and The Village crews, along with members of The Village PD, took part in an Intro to Water Rescue class taught by OSU-FST. The purpose of the class is to teach first responders land based techniques for water rescue operations and how to assist the technical rescue teams that will enter the water for victims. Much was learned by the crews as the spillways in each district will sometimes fill during weather incidents.
