***RULE SET*** Here is a quick repost of the same ruleset we used last year. For those of you that are familiar with Mike Angeli & The H-Town Throwdown, our rule set matches up with theirs in an effort to maximize uniformity between events in order to make it easier on the drivers. HERE ARE SOME FAQs ABOUT THE RACE THIS SATURDAY..... Q: How much does it cost a spectator to get in? A: $10, kids 12 & under are always free as we strive to pass this sport on to the younger generations... Q: How much does it cost for me to enter my car in the race? A: It depends as we have 4 different classes currently, they are as follows..... Big Tire entry fee is $250, Small Tire is $200, True Street is $150, & Daily Driver will cost you $100 Q: How late will you guys be open? A: It all depends on how many cars show up to race. Our best guess is anywhere from 8pm-12am Q: Where can I find the rules for the race? A: Our current rules for each class are pinned to the top of our Facebook page so that it is easy to find. As you scroll down through our Facebook page it will be the first post you come across. If you click see more it will expand & show all the criteria Q: How do we get to your track? A: Sometimes Google Maps is a little sketchy as to whether or not it will take you straight to us or not. For those of you familiar with Muskogee all you have to do is drive out to the old Hatbox Army Airfield & park on the North runway if you’re a spectator (entrance located @40th & Denver just South of Kum n Go). If you’re a driver then you can head for the City of Muskogee Animal Shelter located near 4200 Border Avenue & turn back to the North onto the South end of the runway. If you Google Love-Hatbox Sports Complex in Muskogee that will also get you to the same general area Q: Will there be food there? A: Yes, we will have at least 3 food vendors. One is like a cafe, one is fair food, & another is shaved ice Q: Is this a no prep track? A: Yes, we are a PYOP (Pour Your Own Puddle) track. You must bring your own traction compound Q: Can I bring a lawn chair or are there grandstands? A: Yes, you may bring your own lawn chairs & canopies. All we ask is that you are mindful of the others around you trying to watch the race. Please try & leave an open line of sight for other spectators. There are currently 5 larger grandstands & at least 3 smaller ones. Stadium seats are also encouraged Q: Are you guys looking for sponsors? A: We are always looking to add to our sponsor list, putting these races on is not cheap & a lot of work goes on behind the scenes We hope that answers some commonly asked questions....

Thanks to the infamous Mary Robinson (Drag Racing with Mary) we have some photos from yesterday’s Test & Tune event! If you haven’t already seen her work then go check her Facebook page out & make sure to hit that like button! Even with the threat of rain we had a good turnout with 75 different cars/trucks hitting the track yesterday! There were drivers from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Ohio..... & even one crazy dude all the way from Alaska . Thank you all & we will see you on next Saturday, May 22nd for Mayhem in Muskogee!
