We want to congratulate Mrs. Sherry Hunt for being named a finalist in the Science and Environment Category for the Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medal also known as the "SAMMIES" awards. The SAMMIES are given each year to federal employees who have distinguished themselves in public service and making for a safer, healthier and stronger United States. Mrs. Hunt was nominated for this very prestigious award for her pioneering work in the development of innovative design techniques needed to rehabilitate and reinforce thousands of aging dams across the US, protecting infrastructure investment and downstream communities. The Hunts have been a Primrose School of Edmond family for the past 13 years. We are very proud of Sherry Hunt and her important accomplishments.
