The heat and humidity is kicking my butt...but progress is being made toward opening Pugh Gardens June 20-27, 10am-4pm. Check Facebook page Pugh Gardens for directions and admissions.

Woodland garden coming along...only a few reminders of the October ice storm if you look up (and -15 degrees in Feb on some of the evergreens)... I kept my eyes on the pretty stuff...

Decided to splurge and introduce more specimens in the woodland garden. Beautiful pots from The Greenhouse in Norman and Japanese Maples from Sooner Plants in Muskogee. Really completes the room ala The Big Lebowski. :)

More garden pics...

The needed rain and cool temps are growing prompting happy blooms. The White Gaura have doubled in size. The Blue Sage, for the first time ever unmolested by pe...sts, is performing like a Black and Blue Sage. The Saint Johns Wort is recovering from previous die back. Our six Hydrangeas in the woodland garden are starting to peak. Planning to open Pugh Gsrdens for the eight days of June 20-27. Much too see and enjoy.
