The pole bean, gourd, and squash teepee is finally taking shape.

With Oklahoma hitting 96 this week it was time to pull the peas. Two swimming pools full of peas makes me happy but it also means lots of shelling and snapping. We have a 3 hour drive so I’m sitting in the HippieVan processing peas while Terry drives. Oh how I love gardening.

I love starting plants and this year focused on some fun herbs. I started way too many so the following list is ready to be relocated to your garden. When you need chicken broth why not make a day of it and can chicken stock, beef stock, vegetable stock and pinto beans.
