It’s very weird for me to say this out loud, but today is my 40th birthday. I just can’t even believe it really! When you’re a kid 40 seems SUPER old, but now that it’s happening to me in real time, it just doesn’t seem possible. I don’t feel old. I actually feel better than I’ve ever felt before! So I guess it is true when they say age is just a number. For me, it’s a milestone. Bear and I went out for a walk this morning in the fresh snow and soaked it up with every fiber of my being, just walking and talking to God and being with Him every step of the way. This day is a gift and I am thankful!
