Had a big group today on Oologah. We were going to chase spoonbill but Gibson is 25ft high. We switched it to blue cats and the fish were scattered to say the least. I think they are in the areas that I cant get to eating worms. Big O is 10 ft high. We did catch enough for a good time though. Everyone caught fish and killed beer. So that qualifies for a good time. #starkeyoutdoors

It was a fantastic spoonbill season. Looking back, I think I took out around 125 clients in April just for spoonbill. Proably more. Our big fish’s were 71 and 70lbs. We caught 12 banded fish with the oldest being tagged in 2005. We would have kept it going but Ft.Gibson flooded and is 25ft high. So that ended the season there a little early. I can catch paddlefish all year long but without eggs. Keystone is where the big ones are and I can combine that trip with sandbass / stripers. We release all paddlefish on Keystone. I want to thank everyone who fished with me and looking forward to seeing you next year. It just keeps on getting better. #starkeyoutdoors #paddlefish #spoonbillguide #paddlefishguides #bigfish

We ended the spoonbill season today. A little early due to the major flooding on Ft.Gibson. Fished a different lake today and all the fish were spawned out. Had to livescope them today. By the time Gibson becomes fishable again those fish will be all spawned out as well. That fine. Its great for our fisheries and its my understanding that they get a great hatch in the floodwaters. Id like to thank all my loyal friends who fished with me this spoonbill season. #starkeyoutdoors
