Thurman's Eagle Theater

Just wanted to send out a note to everyone because I get asked every day when we are opening, we are working on the theater and using our own money so it takes a while with the condition the theater was left in because it pretty much needed a complete overhaul. Right now we are working on getting new emergency doors for the back, new glass in all the poster frames on the front and some glass replaced in the back, after that we will be working on putting all new sheet rock ins...ide and fixing the bathrooms. When we get to that point I will send out a message if anyone wants to come down and help put up sheet rock and tear down the old walls. We will then be in the position to start working on getting the new projector, new seats, curtains and new surround sound but as you can imagine all of this is very expensive and we are trying to do this with our own money and make sure that the town has a theater they can be proud of. We are glad everyone is excited about the theater and we are working on it as fast as possible, but I wanted to give an update so everyone knows we are still working on it. See more

Just some more photos of the game room, new electric and paint

I hadn't given an update in a while so here goes.We finally have all new electric in the theater. Now we will continue to work on the inside, there is a lot of work still to do. Most of the seats are unbolted and ready to go out. We have installed new emergency exit signs and all new emergency lights. We are starting on the bathrooms now.

We ordered all the shirts that everyone order and we ordered and extra 50 so if anyone is interested let us know and when they come in we will let you know. They are $20 with all proceeds going back into the restoration.

Come out tomorrow during the car show we will be selling, pop corn, BBQ sandwiches, chips, pop, and pickles. Come out and support the theater restoration.
