I'm bout to get real here ya'll. I am genuinely so blessed to have such a talented group of musicians that believe in my vision. They are driven. They are talented. They are reliable. They are real. And mostly, they are just good people. I've surrounded myself with like-minded, level-headed, people that are more like brothers and sisters. It's really a beautiful thing if you think about it. We manage to create something from nothing. And that something, the song, isn't even t...angible, yet the music will be recorded even in our own minds, forever! That's the beauty of a song. They're eternal. Especially a good, powerful, uplifting, song that hits you to the core and give you goosebumps. I'm not one to brag, but I know a good song when I hear one and this new song, Down Here in Oklahoma, is one of those songs. It's a thunderous song with multiple hooks, thick vocals, sly guitar, haunting keys and fiddle, deep, deep Oklahoma roots and gives kudos to and showcases songs from Roy Clark, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, J.J. Cale, Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood, Leon Russell, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Merle Haggard, Blake Shelton, and Vince Gill all while bragging on the up-and-coming future talent from OK. It's such a kickass song and you are gonna love it! I just can't wait! This song should be hitting all formats by April. SPECIAL THANKS TO MY BAND...
