She was born to Walter and Ruth Dobyns on June 9, 1939 in Rush Springs, Arkansas. She had 8 siblings: Bobby, Clifford, Mary Lou, Daisy, William Earl, Linda, Johnny, Judy all from Tulsa and surrounding areas. She met her husband, Clinton Snider, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and was marrie...d on June 9, 1961. Together, they had 3 children: June Lee, Eugene Clinton, and Earl Lee Snider. They also had 5 grandchildren: Ashley, Cuyler, Camaron, Siara, and Mariah. They have 5 great grandchildren: Zach, Emily, Austin, Ava, and Aliviah. Betty loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved going on vacations all over the country in her motorhome with her family. She was a dedicated real estate agent, subdivision developer, and aided her husband in the building of rural communities in the Shawnee area. She was the garage sale queen, and also enjoyed reading, people watching, and watching westerns. She also served her community by working on the election board for years. Graveside funeral services are scheduled for May 15, 2021 at Sunny Side Cemetery at 10 am. Public viewing will be open at Walker Funeral Home in Shawnee, Oklahoma on Thursday, May 13 beginning at noon and will continue through Friday. Pallbearers will be: Billy Dobyns, Bobby Dobyns, Steven Dobyns, Cuyler Snider, Camaron Snider, and Laine Podest. Directions to Sunny Side Cemetery: From the intersection of Highway 18 and Highway 62 in Meeker, take Highway 18 north approximately two miles to 1020 Rd. Turn east on 1020 Rd. and go approximately 1.5 miles. The cemetery is located on the north side of the road.
