Altus AFB Security Forces Crime Stoppers 09.04.2021

Altus Police arrested a man Thursday afternoon, at around 4:25 p.m., after the owner of a 2014 Dodge Durango dark grey in color with OK tag HVP-758, reported hi...s vehicle being stolen. The victim told police the vehicle was parked in the 200 block of North Main, with the keys in the ignition, when someone stole the SUV. A patrol officer spotted the stolen vehicle about 25 mins later and conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Main. The driver, 40 year old Bobby Cruz Sanchez, was taken into custody and transported to the Jackson County Jail. Sanchez faces a charge of Larceny of an Auto.

Altus AFB Security Forces Crime Stoppers 13.03.2021

Altus Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that was reported at around 5:40 a.m. Sunday morning in the the 1000 block of Gene St. The home had been hit ...several times by gunfire. One female occupant in the home suffered minor injuries to her arm. She was transported to JCMH, by EMS personnel, treated and later released from the hospital. Police recovered multiple shell casings from the street. No suspects have been identified. Altus AFB Security Forces Crime Stoppers 27.02.2021

GRAND LARCENY ARRESTS Altus Police arrested four people Monday evening, at around 8:00 p.m, on multiple felony charges after a reported shoplifting incidents ...at two separate retailers. Almost $2,000 dollars worth of merchandise was stolen from Atwoods & Walgreens. One of the suspects threatened an Atwoods employee with a sledgehammer during the shoplifting incident. The suspects exited the store & fled the area in a tan in color Chevy SUV bearing OK tag IPT-909. Witnesses told Police the vehicle was last seen eastbound on Tamarack Road. Patrol Officers stopped the SUV near the 400 block of East Tamarack & recovered merchandise from both Atwoods & Walgreens, which included cowboy boots, a Carhartt jacket, lighting equipment & other misc items. The four suspects, three men and a woman, were taken into custody & transported to the Jackson County Jail. 43 year old Matthew Steven Jones faces charges of Grand Larceny, Conspiracy to Commit Grand Larceny and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia along with multiple traffic violations. 33 year old Ta Sharah Olee Renea Cruse faces charges of Grand Larceny, Conspiracy to Commit Grand Larceny and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 19 year old Tytan Ray Mayville faces charges of Grand Larceny, Conspiracy to Commit Grand Larceny and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. 47 year old Jason Kyle Obe faces charges of Grand Larceny, Possession of a Controlled and Dangerous substance and Bringing Contraband (CDS) into a Jail.
