If you’re a manufactured home buyer, investing or for personal use, be aware that manufactured home prices as of April 1, 2021 have increased to 19.5%, essentially a 10.6% increase on average per every 3 weeks. The increase in lumber prices have been the biggest contributor to this big upswing in building materials. In my own opinion, this will contribute to the future crash that will follow in the coming months. In the grand scheme of things, we are seeing a huge pump-and-du...mp lay-up in certain markets. We’ll see properties selling for more than fair market value, but we will see in the future, an aggressive downward spiral in property values as the pandemic starts to decrease. As I said, this is just my own opinion. I also see that as long as they play out the pandemic for as long as they can, in the background we can see many hedge funds, iBuyers, and big money sweeping in and ‘stealing’ properties at rock bottom prices once the bottom falls out. I strongly urge you that if you’re caught in the crossfires and you need to sell, please consider local or smaller businesses to do business with you.
