ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: Al's Recycling is OPEN during construction! Don't let the signs confuse you, it's just a quick detour since both EAST bound lanes 29th between Grand Blvd & Bryant are temporarily closed for road repairs! Al's will be open normal operating hours, we look forward to seeing you soon!

Pardon the delay but I needed a couple days to heal before I was able to share...Tuesday we had to say goodbye to one of the most precious gifts that has blessed our lives. Fluffy showed up about 13 years ago at my office with a bullet wound that was struggling to heal on her side and quite literally chose(or forced lol) us to be her "people".... and for 13 years she has greeted me walking into work, "talked" to me, laid on my desk, pressed buttons on my keyboard, laid her he...ad on my hand so I couldn't move my mouse, basically anything she could do to get my attention. She is quite famous, our customers bring people to meet her, they bring their kids to love on her, I can't count how many people take selfies with her()to say she is missed just doesn't seem like a bold enough word to describe the feelings of losing her.
