OCTOBER'S SOUTH OK AMPUTEE DINNER!!!!! Calling all Amputees! Our next amputee dinner down south will be in Stillwater at Slims Chickens Saturday Oct 23 @ 4pm till 6pm. It's ADA Friendly with lots of room, great prices, and something for everyone. Bring your friends, family, caregivers and come hang out with us. And please share this with everyone. You can bring family with you. The location has easy access to the meeting room from the parking lot per the manager for wheelchairs. The menu has burgers, BBQ, even hotdogs so there should be something for everyone. And the prices look good :) we will be at the Memorial Location. ... Can't wait to meet everyone :)

We Are Having An Amputee Of Oklahoma Get Together Saturday Afternoon September 25th From 4-? In OKC (Bricktown). Location Will Be Announced Next Week. You can bring a guest with you. Since My Amputation & Weight Loss I Have 1. Zip Lined 2. Bungee Cord 3. Jumped off a 5 story building And Now........ 4. Went Water Skiing. Checking those Bucket List Goals Off :)

Have you wanted to get more active but could not afford it? Needed a specializes bike?? A Running leg? Special Sports Equipment?? Well they will be opening up Grants for specialized equipment for amputees in the next month or two. Read over this site. I will post when it opens.... I put this on my wall and wanted to share it ...... I was referred to as a disabled lady the other day so let's educate..... 1. I am a human ... 2. I may have medical issues but I handle it 3. I may have to use assistance to get around (prosthetic, walker, or wheelchair) but I can do it with class. 4. Having this medical challenge makes me stronger. 5. And the struggles I have overcome you couldn't even exceed at in 100 years. So next time you see someone with a medical issue be kind with the words to describe them. P.S. You can just refer to me as Superwomen. LOL PLEASE FWD.

Ready to Kick This Day Into To High Gear!!! Let's Get It Done!!!! But remember use common sense know your limits, drink water, if you start to get tired or hurt stop. Becareful in this heat not all of us can be a One Legged Wonder Women but even I know when it's time to say it's time to stop. lol
