Today we visited the Machame Hospital & Health Training Institute. MHTI is a medical school for doctors and nurses, it was founded in 1901 by missionaries. The institute is an inspiration as we build a vocational center. The hospital started as a very small hut and today it trains hundreds of students and is the preferred hospital of the Maasai.

We are on a mission to make a lasting impact in Tanzania, but in the process, they are making a lasting impact on us. There is so much we have come to appreciate and value about the people we meet in Tanzania. This beautiful Maasai woman takes pride in her culture, her village, and her work. She’s gorgeous, intelligent, well-spoken, and content.

Today we finish our 7 days of prayer and fasting praying for our ministry to be impactful! We pray for people who have never heard of Jesus to be saved. We pray for all of the people placed in our path that need healing! God, increase our faith to believe that people can be healed and set free from their pain! Most of all, God, guide every aspect and area of ministry! Let us be faithful to fulfill the vision!

Today we are praying for the areas we believe God wants us to expand! Acquiring more land to expand in Tanzania. Reaching remote villages in Tanzania. ... Expanding our reach to other nations. Expanding our education programs in Tanzania. Expanding our ministry to minister to the growing prostitution pandemic in Tanzania.

Today we are praying for our biggest project currently underway. The vocational center is located in Tanzania and we are praying for the following areas: Safety for construction workers! $100,000 to finish construction.... Skilled teachers for every program. A name for the vocational center. Favor with the neighbors, churches and local leaders. Thank you for praying with us!

Today we are praying for the students in Tanzania waiting to attend a school like the vocational center! Students are desperate for hope and a better life. We pray for the orphaned student who feels abandoned. We pray for the student who has lost all hope of a bright future. ... We pray for the students working to provide for their parents and siblings. We pray for the students trapped in prostitution and human trafficking. We pray for students who have resorted to stealing and drugs. We pray that God would touch their hearts, bring them out of their struggle, fill them with His love and give them hope for the future. We pray for an acceleration in the process of building and opening the vocational center to give students a place of refuge, peace, and hope for the future.

Today we are praying for all of the PEOPLE who make it possible for AFTN to exist! We are praying for all of our partners who prayerfully and financially give to AFTN! Favor in buying more land to expand the campus. An honest attorney to work with in Tanzania. Favor with the government. NGO Papers to be APPROVED!
