Charlene Dew, Jeff Romines and I attended the Oklahoma Big Brothers Big Sisters annual convention today, and it was REALLY good. Charlene convinced me drivin...g her there (she’s a backseat driver btw) would be better than zooming, and it was. Hearing testimonials of what this organization does for children was overwhelmingly, heart wrenching. I’ve been on this board for three years now, but hearing first hand the impact this organization has on kid’s lives, and especially on the lives of Bigs, made me realize why I wanted to be a Big in Kansas City and why I hope to be one again in the future. I’m going to be sending out my Bowl 4 Kid’s Sake link again soon for team Alley Katz. Please consider donating when I do, or if you’re so compelled, being a big brother or sister in the future.

Exciting News: Bartlesville will soon have access to local recycling.
