Our pool will be closed tomorrow and Thursday for maintenance. If you're signed up for an aquatics program that would normally take place on either of those days, be on the lookout for an email with more information. The Rockwell Plaza pool will be open regular hours during this time.

The YMCA as we know it today is an organization that stresses the importance of being for all. Those are the last two words in our mission statement, but it t...ook a long time to get to this point, and there is certainly more work to be done. Knowing the past opens the door to the future. Just because Black History Month is coming to a close doesn't mean we can forget about lessons learned or progress made until next February. Our association has created a committee comprised of staff members and volunteers who are committed to making adjustments within the organization from HR and training to membership and marketing. These adjustments will help us get that much closer to our goal of creating a more equitable and inclusive Y; one that measures up to what "for all" signifies. We will continue to encourage followers to take a stand against injustice and racism in all forms and to bring awareness to the systemic nature of the racism and oppression that exist in the United States and around the world. A timely example of something you can do is happening tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 26. Wear black, take a photo and post with a short statement about why you wear black with the hashtag #WeWearBlack. We'll be posting our reasons for wearing black tomorrow and we hope you'll join us.

Normally, we're closed on Sundays. However, since Rockwell Plaza YMCA is closed for repairs, we will be open this Sunday, Feb. 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. We won't have Aquatics, Group Exercise Classes or Child Watch available, but you can still come in and workout!
