A day in the Wichita’s is a day worth spending!! These two were so much fun and despite the cooler temperatures and the post now mud, they rocked their session!!! While I don’t shoot weddings in January which means it’s a bit of a quieter work month and more of a family month it has been a busy work month behind the scenes! 3 session to kick off week 1 of 2021, major business shifts and marketing plans, talking with two more brides this weekend and more sessions to finish off this month and kick of February. Next week I’m taking a full week off, though! With family in town it’s time to pause and just enjoy! I am officially caught up on editing which means next week will be completely work free and I cannot wait!!! I’ll be back in the office on the 18th.

You’re ENGAGED!!! Seeing all of the Christmas proposals has been the best and I know y’all are still on cloud 9 (as you should be!!). And for those New Years proposals coming up, eeeeekkk!!! This is such an exciting time!!! I’m both honored and so excited for all of the 2021 and 2022 wedding inquiries in my inbox this week!! I am sooo excited to meet all of you who have already reached out in the last few days since your engagement or weeks leading up to yo...ur engagement! Merry Christmas from our family to yours! This has by far been my favorite Christmas yet. So grateful for this little family of mine and the memories we are building, the lessons we are learning and the relationships we are strengthening. Tonight’s date for 12 Dates of Christmas is one of the best mom dates ever pizza picnic!!! For starters, y’all, cooking is not my thing. I can cook I’m actually pretty decent at it most of the time BUT it isn’t what fills my cup and makes me feel like a successful human, ya know?? I’m more of an Instant Pot, 5 ingredients or less kind of a cook unless it’s for something super special (or for a dessert )! And want to know the best part of ordering pizza?? It takes me zero ...ingredients to make and clean up is EEAAASSSYYY!!!! And easy clean up means we have more time to play with the kids before dinner and more time to play with kiddos means the more worn out they are and the more worn out they are the better they sleep. Boom, boom, BOOM!!! Fulfills all my mom goals. And as a fun little bonus, we are eating pizza by the Christmas Tree tonight. Dinner by the tree is always more special!! And for dessert, uummmm, I’m not sure yet. Probably peppermint ice cream and hot chocolate! What are your dinner plans for tonight!?
