Link is in the comments! For all you Downy loves, you're in luck! We have a stock up alert! I know I preach about not being name brand specific, but Downy is one of my few splurges because I love the way it smells. Plus, during sells like this, it's about the same price as the generic brand stuff! SAMS is already usually the cheapest place to shop for Downy at $0.05 per OZ. Right now, SAMS has a instant savings of $2.50, making it $0.04 per OZ (the same price as the Member...'s Mark Generic Brand!) This deal ends January 24th!

Finger Food Bowls! So a lot of our close family and friends know we have done things differently with Lincoln than we did Theodore to try to be healthier and more eco friendly. The big changes are that we have only used cloth diapers with Lincoln and made his baby food homemade versus premade store bought. Lincoln has been telling us for a while that he’s ready to graduate into finger foods (he will eat whatever I eat and grabs everything he can to shove in his mouth), so we ...finally made the leap into finger foods! We have 11 kids in our house right now, so it’s easy when Lincoln is hungry to be like here have a cracker. So, in my goal to help Lincoln develop healthier eating habits, I made finger food bowls that I can freeze and pull out each day for him to eat on throughout the day (I made enough for a full month!) As you can tell, the first one was a hit! Here’s a list of what went in our finger food bowls: Protein: Black beans Chicken Meatballs Vegetables: Cauliflower (cooked) Broccoli (cooked) Cucumbers (raw) Green beans (canned) Potatoes (cooked, but not mushy) Peas Carrots (cooked) Corn (canned) Fruit: Strawberries Pineapples Blueberries Peaches Pears Carbs: Pasta (cooked, but not mushy) Rice (cooked, but not mushy)

Country Sausage Gravy! This recipe is perfect for freezing for a morning you don’t have time to make it from scratch! I double this recipe on the weekends so that we can have a big yummy country breakfast, but I also have some left over to freeze for another day. You will need:... 1 pound sausage 1/3 cup flour 3 1/2 cup of milk (or more or less to get the texture you love) 1 1/2 tsp season salt 1 tsp kosher salt 1 tsp ground black pepper 1. Fry up that sausage to perfection! I chop it into small chucks while it cooks. 2. Once all the pink is cooked out, don’t drain the grease! Mix in the flour until combined. 3. Cook over medium heat for a few more minutes while stirring to let the flour mixture get a pretty caramel color. 4. Slowly whisk in the milk, then add seasonings. 5. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until thick. If you need to, add in a tad more milk at a time until the texture is perfect. Serve over biscuits or, my personal favorite, fried potatoes and scrambled eggs!
