A Howe HS class kicking up bugs in Morris Creek within a private farm on the east side of Howe, OK (10 minutes south of Poteau).

The winner of the small Blue Thumb Earth Day Display is Brenda Wilson!! Brenda is STEM Lab Facilitator with Jenks East Intermediate and she monitors Adams Creek in Broken Arrow. An additional small Earth Day display has also been created for loan to volunteers. Each display comes with choices of information. The photo below is one of three info/graphic sheets.

What a big week it has been for Yard by Yard! Please scroll through these wonderful photos to get a feel for this new Statewide initiative that brings strength, health and resiliency to Oklahoma communities.

Before the rain moved in, we were able to meet with our volunteers on Okmulgee Creek! We have three monitoring sites on the creek as it winds through the community of Okmulgee. A beaver dam on one site prevented us from making all three collections today.
