Our residents made homemade, heated rice packs this week out of these fun socks! Mike looks pretty happy as hers is keeping her cozy and warm.

Patricia shows her love of animals as she interacts with our Joy for All robotic cat. These animals are loaded with sensors that respond when they are pet, talked to, and snuggled allowing our residents to connect with these comforting creatures.

For the past year, our residents have been blessed with personalized cards for every holiday sent by a dear friend of our executive director. Storm, we want to thank you for all the smiles, warm hearts, and tears of gratitude your cards brought to our residents. You have truly made a difference in the lives of each and every one of them.

We had an action-packed St. Patrick’s Day yesterday! The festivities started with centerpiece making, followed by decorating, a very green-themed luncheon, and mint milkshakes. We even had a contest for the most creative leprechaun name! Ellen proved to be the winner with the very colorful, Greenie McMuffin! Nancy received runner up for Stumpy McStud. Hope your St. Pat’s Day was as fun as ours!

We would like to wish a fond, yet bittersweet farewell to our outstanding Director of Sales and Marketing, Jacki Miller. For the past three and a half years, residents and their families have been greeted by Jacki’s contagious smile and positive, helpful attitude. We will miss her dearly and wish her all the best as she embarks on her next endeavor!
