Wow! I continue to be blown away by how people support our troops. Jim Risman mentioned the auction at work, and Bill Wright made these and donated them to the ...auction. We are currently buying items for Thanksgiving and Christmas boxes. Thank you for helping make that possible. This could be yours if you are the high bidder at our Mayes County Blue Star Moms Live and Silent Auction Fundraiser Thursday, November 11, at the Mayes County Fairgrounds Event Center. Doors open at 5 PM. Silent auction intervals began at 5:30 PM and end at 7:15 PM. Live auction starts at 6:30 PM. What a fun night! Packed 41 Easter Basket boxes for our deployed Troops chocolate scented Easter bunnies, Cotton candy, Peeps, Bubblegum eggs , chocolate bunnies and more, are on their way to let our Troops know they are loved and appreciated and never forgotten. Gonna be some happy Troops!! 80 boxes will be on their way tomorrow to our deployed men and women. One box filled with all kinds of Valentine goodies, and one box filled with breakfast goodies! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR TROOPS.... GOD BLESS AND PROTECT YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES

We did it! All 27 of us! Moms, dad‘s PHS leadership class, students, and friends volunteered to help bring a piece of Christmas home to our Troops 122 boxes will be on their way in the morning,to our deployed men and women serving this great Country so very far from home. ... 67 stocking boxes went out today, filled with ornaments, candy canes, Christmas socks, chocolate covered cherries and lots of fun surprises. In the morning our gift boxes filled with long sleeve Henley T-shirts, flannel lounging pants, underwear, socks, a blanket, stocking caps and more and a food box filled with stuffing, black olives, pecan pies, turkey and dressing meals, green beans, cranberry sauce, Jell-O and much much more Thank you to PHS leadership class for putting each soldiers name on their stockings,the donations, and helping pack ( I’ll have glitter floating for months, in my car). Thank you to each and everyone who came out three different nights, helping get everything ready and packed for our Troops, and to all who donated. A special thank you to Danny Headrick for always making sure our room is set up and ready for us, and my hubby Gary for always bringing the man van to pick up our goodies and load the boxes to take to the Post Office... you’re the best I truly mean it when I say it takes a village. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 9 of us moms pre-piled tonight for our Troops Christmas boxes. Each soldier will have a gift box, stocking with their name on it filled with goodies from Santa and an awesome Christmas dinner box. next best thing if they can’t be home.... we’ll bring a piece of home to them.
