Canadian Shores Volunteer Fire Department

18:57 we were paged out to assist Shady Grove on a structure fire on Coal Creek Road. Engine 2 and Tanker 2 responded with 4 personnel: Fire Chief Don Jr, Captain Don Sr, Lieutenant Mary Ann & Firefighter Tyler. The road wasn’t assessable for Engines so Brush Trucks and UTV’s were used. There were multiple abandoned structures. Tanker 2 went to the fire area and along with Brush trucks used the Tanker to help put the fire out. Other Fire Depts assisting Shady Grove were: Bugtussle, Indianola & Crowder. Incident No. 35

20:42 we were paged out for a large grass fire by the river. 20:49 we were then paged out for another large grass fire on Hwy 113 & Bowman Road. Both fires turned out to be a controlled burn across the Canadian River in McIntosh County. We had 7 Personnel respond: FC Don Jr, AFC Justin, CPT Don Sr, LT Mary Ann, FF Samuel, Tyler & Dylon. Incident #33 & Incident #34

11:54 we were paged out to assist Bugtussle on a grass & stucture fire on One Mile Lane. Engine 2 and Tanker 2 responded with 6 Personnel: Fire Chief Don Jr, Captain Don Sr, Lieutenant Mary Ann, Firefighters Samuel, Tyler & Dylon. We helped with mop up. Incident #32.

We purchased new used Extrication tools to add to our rescue tools. We had to change head from cutter to spreader. Now we will cut down on time.
