Chambers Farms OK

Ahhh, farm life.

This girl is on day 12 and is perfectly content to just stay where she is. Hopefully, only 9-ish days to go! We originally put 10 eggs under her; she rejected one. A few days ago, we caught her out of the nest and counted 14 eggs she’s been sitting on. Time will tell.

We got our first pullet egg from one of our young ladies yesterday. You can see the size difference. And this lady had decided that 25 chickens isn’t enough. She wants to hatch more!

Double row of sunflowers is starting to really bloom. That's gonna be a lot of chicken treats soon.

A cardinal made a nest in a tomato plant! Now 3 eggs.
