OKWA STATE TOURNAMENT RESULTS!! Another state tournament in the books. We took 25 wrestlers and 8 of them battled to the medal rounds!! So proud of these kids. I know we fell short of some goals but lots of positive things came from this weekend. Too many to list but the big one I noticed is redemption. Makes me feel good when our wrestlers are closing the gap and even beating kids that have previously beat them. Shows me they are mentally strong and getting better. Espe...cially with the year of snowvid. On average we normally get in 30-35 practices in a season, this year was arround 20 with a 2 week break before state and that’s if you made them all, as most were quarantined at some point.
