WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS We don't want your business. In fact, we hope you never lose data. Follow these steps, and you won't.... For each new wedding you shoot. 1. Buy new memory cards and don't erase them (archive them) 2. At the end of your photo shoot, transfer the new photos to at least two different hard drives. (COPY, don't move the files.) 3. Put the memory cards away and don't format or erase the original photos. They are now your backup. Put them in a safe or store them off-site. (away from your computer and/or external drives.) We get calls from wedding photographers all the time. It is doubly sad for us in those situations where we are unable to recover the missing photos. Of course we won't charge you if we're unable to get your images back. But we'd rather you not lose them to begin with. If the data on your storage device is "gettable" we absolutely will get it between our local lab and our partners at DriveSavers in CA. We hope you never need to call us.
