Frank Church Claremore City Council

Hello all. I wanted to give an update to everyone on what I have been up to since the election. I have gotten to meet with a couple of city council members and discussed with them some of the ideas I had in the draft that I wrote. I have had positive feedback with a number of items. I have also had the opportunity to sit down with the City Manager and an Assistant City Manager to discuss some of the items in the outline. I want to thank them both for their time and willingnes...s to discuss the items we did. I know I kept them a little later than expected, but I think it was a very positive first conversation. I am going to draft a more detailed paper and drawings on what I feel is a solution to the train issue and see if we can get some movement forward on that. I am still working hard for all of us. Good morning. It is still a beautiful day to live in Claremore. I know that many of you are disappointed with the outcome from last night. The elections are over and as I have said all along this was not about the council seat alone. I am going to be contacting our city leaders individually, and if they are willing to listen, then I will be happy to discuss with them any or all of the outline I have posted. I will continue to be active and I will be pushing for all of us. It ...would have been much easier to speak while at the table, but I can be hopeful that my voice will still be heard. Obviously there are some that haven't heard exactly what I have tried to say or they just haven't paid close attention. I promised all of you that I would stay the course no matter what happened on Election Day. I intend on doing that. Thank you again for all of your support. The numbers are coming in and It appears we are not going to win this election. While I am not going to win I will continue to be an active resident in this community. I do love Claremore.
