I came across the Warrior Angels Foundation the other day and have been researching it. It is a fairly new form of treatment for vets with PTSD and TBI. Short version is something like this. They take your blood and then test it in a lab to see the exact amount of chemicals in your brain that determine mood, growth, and literally ever...y aspect of the human body. What they generally find are low amounts of several. They then make a program specifically for the individual and give them specific chemical treatments that bring these levels to normal. They do not exceed the amount the human body is normally supposed to produce, because this can cause the body to stop producing it at all. This is helping a large number of vets. But they can only treat so many due to funding. When their yearly cap is met they can only treat vets who can pay their own way. They will treat however many they can afford too.
