Preview of this Sunday's sermon: Psalm 27:4-8 BACK TO THE BASICS: PURSUING GOD "Pursuing the Presence of God"... If we would truly seek for the glory of God, we must, then, by very nature and truth, seek the presence of God. If we do not seek the presence of God, we cannot and will not truly seek the glory of God. Jesus says in John 15:8, "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples." (NASB) This follows His instruction in verse 5, "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." "One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to meditate in His temple." (Psalm 27:4)
