The @crestonecycle boating tip of the week. Check your trailer bearings, folks. This was my own boat trailer last night and even bearing buddies can’t stop it a...ll. A bad inner seal caused the starboard side wheel bearing to get full of water and sand. This would not have survived many miles at highway speeds before total failure occurred. Not how you want to end a good day on the lake after a few beers. Pull those covers and check tension and lubrication NOW, before you find out the hard way. If you’re considering putting a tank liner in your motorcycle gas tank, do yourself a favor in about 10 years and just don’t. This is how they end up every damn...ed time. It’s a bandaid solution to a surgery problem that causes more issues later. This beautiful tank (on the outside) will likely have to be replaced. The only liner I have ever seen that seems to work ok is the Dragons Blood or Red Kote. Kreme is not your friend. #yamahadt125 See more
