When you send us diapers or help us financially to purchase them, you are doing more than just providing a necessity. The look on this mother’s face when she saw the amount of diapers, formula & wipes we were able to help with says it all. She is going through a very difficult time right now as the father of her children is in ICU. She is juggling work, going to the hospital & trying to provide for their two small children. We received a call from a mom last week during the snow storm who needed a warm place for her son to sleep for the night. He was very shy at first but quickly stole our hearts & found a fireman costume that he wore for the remainder of his stay. He told us that’s what he wants to be one when he grows up. Well, the snow storm came & went. We stayed open. We have had a lot of kids, received a lot of calls & texts for diapers, formula, food, etc. We were able to help almost all of them. It’s the end of the month, other resources have been closed all week & we still have the weekend ahead of us. We need size 4, 5 & 6 diapers, wipes & Gerber Soothe. Can you help us finish out the month & fill in where others can’t at the moment? We had a family on Sunday (Valentines Day) that ...desperately needed us. We were at capacity so 2 officers had to fill in until we could get there. The roads were awful, it was freezing...but we were able to get them. They had fun & we made pallets on the couch while we drank hot chocolate. The mom was having their sibling & there was literally no one else that could help. We appreciate those two men for stepping up & being there until we could. Another positive outcome & what we are here for. Thank you for all you do so we can be here. We love our community & are so thankful for all of you that continue to help make this possible. We will have some more updates tomorrow but are taking a much needed break this evening. Our kids in care have been at all time high, but we have still been able to help assist families as well. #godsgotit

We have had some of you reach out & ask what our needs are. We are anticipating with the upcoming snow storm/bad weather that food will be an issue again. If you are out & about we will be accepting donations. We will be attempting to pick up & deliver beds most of the afternoon but other than that we will be here. Also, if you have free time & can help locate some of these (pictured)...we are getting a lot of requests for them. Most have heat but certain rooms don’t get warm in their apartments or houses.
