Team Tinker, Tinker Air Force Base will OPEN at 5 a.m. on February 19, with TWO-HOUR DELAYED reporting and liberal leave authorized. Mission essential personnel... will report on time. CDC West and Youth Center will be closed tomorrow. CDC East and South are scheduled to open at 8 a.m. While in the current base status, the Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Complex continues to evaluate weather impact to facilities. Personnel who work in shops that are not deemed ready for operations will be put on Weather and Safety leave. Personnel contacted by their leadership team to return to work because their shop has been deemed ready are required to report for work or request liberal leave. Those telework eligible will be expected to work from their telework location or request liberal leave. It is imperative facilities are prepped for the safe return of our workforce. All other base personnel with telework capabilities will perform duties if capable. Otherwise they may request liberal leave. Weather and safety leave is only applicable for members whose facilities are not ready for operations. The Commissary, Base Exchange, Child Development Cent...ers, Fitness Centers and all additional facilities to include the Lancer Gate at Douglas Blvd. will remain closed. Essential personnel as designated by their organizations will report at normal times for current missions. All facility managers on Feb. 18 are mandated as essential workers and will report to inspect facilities for integrity issues and water leaks. They will report findings to CE at 405-734-3117. Personnel with telework capabilities will perform duties if capable. Otherwise they may take unscheduled leave or other paid time off, or a combination. Weather and safety leave is only applicable if not previously scheduled for telework duties. Dorm residents without heat are encouraged to contact CE for space heaters at 405-318-0320 for 24/7 service. On February 26, 2021 Captain CJ Jessup will relieve Captain Tony Barnes as Commodore, Strategic Communications Wing One and Commander, TG 114.2.
