Have you ever tried to drive at night without your headlights on? It’s nearly impossible unless there are plenty of street lamps around. When we take our eyes off of Heaven and our focus shifts to the ways of this world, it’s as if we are driving with our headlights turned off. When you drive with your headlights off ( I have tried it once or twice, don’t judge me ) you can continue driving but you can’t see the curves in the road or the obstacles in your way. Eventually, if ...you continue driving with your headlights turned off you will crash. It’s the same with our walk with God. When you take your eyes off of heaven you can’t see where the path is, or where He is leading you. Let’s take time to stop refocus our eyes on Heaven and let God light the way for us. - - Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. - - #Hebrews122 See more
