Odin's all set! I'll keep checking in on him over the next month or two, but this big, crazy boy shows all the signs of being done with the posting process. He always cracked me up, when he was being a hooligan and I would grab the treats to refocus him, his response instead was to run and wait in his crate, without fail.

Today I got to meet two adorable floofy Aussie pups. In Aussies, the way the ears fold and sit matters if they are potentially going to be shown. Chaos(red tricolor) and Samus(red merle) fall into this group as potential show prospects, so their owners contacted me to help! ... For these guys, the ears can be glued painlessly to train the ears to sit correctly, and that's exactly what I did for them today. Once the adhesive wears away, we will reglue them as needed until they are done teething and ears are set correctly.

Occasionally I have pups who are a 'one and done' style job! Zozik the Cane Corso is one of those. He was 17-18 weeks old when I saw him, and his ears went two different directions despite his dad's best efforts to post him. Corsos typically don't take as long to post as some other breeds, so one single set of posts from me was enough to completely fix his ears. Look at this beautiful boy now!

It's been a very busy last few weeks for me! Three pups swapped to breathe right strips who are probably done with the posting process, and another who is probably within a few weeks of the same. Pictured are Roman and Aine. The third is a red boy, Ace. I forgot to get a good picture of him.

My new friend Ruger has enlisted me to come to his house to help with his ears because he gets carsick on the way to have his vet do them. poor kiddo! He is a little head-shy at the moment, so I'll be going slow while working with him and making sure to give extra treats (a.k.a. bribes ) to reward him for putting on his brave face while I teach him that we are friends and nothing I do will hurt him. He did so well today! I am sure we will be fast friends in no time.
