Easton Sod Farms is seeking to hire motivated Sod Farm Workers responsible for performing daily tasks such as mowing sod fields, maintenance of mowing equipment, and sod harvesting. Duties include but are not limited to: Keep records of task performed Mowing multiple sod varieties... General preventative maintenance of production equipment Maintaining mowers and greasing daily if needed Performs manual work to include stacking sod, stacking pallets, sprigging and seeding Communicating effectively with farm managers and co-workers General Knowledge of complex power equipment such as farm type tractors with attached bat-wing mowers, front end loaders, various types of trucks and trailers, weed eaters, chainsaws and other grounds maintenance/farm equipment Experience/Education : FARM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Must be hardworking and reliable, self-motivated, willingness to get the job done and work independently.
