Winnie Nomzamo was a village girl She identified with her roots Her dreams were shattered before they flourished... Denied privacy in her own home Restricted to a barren district Isolated from love Banished from her femininity Punished for being Winnie She never believed them Their propaganda machine was relentless She believed the truth In her people's desire for pursuit of freedom Glued to her people Living side by side The teargas brought no tears Nomzamo gave birth to Winnie A woman who never gave up A freedom fighter A voice for the silent majority She identified with the landless She spoke at will Her dreams shattered before she was born Her people dispossessed Asking difficult questions Izwe lethu? When are we going to kill the elephant in the room Winnie paid a heavy price Her people ungrateful Afraid to tell the truth Her people lacked her courage Downtrodden by the system Shunned by us She chose to side with the truth The Special Branch can attest Solitary confinement Torture The harsh seas on the way to Robben Island The difficult ferry trip John Vorster Square Pretoria Central The trek to Brandtfort The harsh Orange Free State winters Fortified her resilience Nomzamo never gave up She never stopped trying Why should we stop Her fighting spirit was direct She fought a good fight Thank you death Exposing our myopic memories Reminding the nation of her glorious contribution Winnie was a fighter! There is a direct threat against African American children in the United States education system. The leaders (the powers that be which is the power structure o...f the US) better known as corporate American-Capitalism, have a morbid fear that our Black children acquiring a legitimate and early education would threaten the economic and political and social foundations which were built on white supremacy and which were built on the backs of our great ancestors. This translating into us ultimately seizing control of not only the United States, but other countries as well. The European nation can I'll-afford to let that happen. See more

I'm preparing a document styled: Committee to Save Douglass Center. The Parks and Recreation Department has plans to do away with Douglass Center and building a... $17 million James Stewart Golf Clubhouse for the golfers who currently golf on the green turf adjacent to the center. Brothers and sisters the center has a historical connection to the black community. Many black kids and their families visit the center for the many programs the center offers. Not only that, the center is a compliment to Douglass High School. Saving the center will need to take a collective effort. Michael C. Washington cannot pull this off alone. It's going to take a community involvement. Our kids stands to lose too much if we sit around and not let our voices be heard

We are constantly reminded of the horrific behavior of the KKK and other white racist groups which have infiltrated positions throughout the individual governme...nts in America. And it's truly ashame that people can have so much hatred in their hearts for a people who were forced, kidnaped and brought to America against their will. The African American people of whom I speak has done absolutely nothing to these pockets of bigots but be of a different nationality. Any black group that was created to counter white supremist government policies and practices have been destroyed and/or dismantled while government sponsored groups like the KKK, White Citizens Council, the SkinHeads and Arryan Brotherhood have been allowed to continue to reek havoc in the world. Thanks to that bigot for a president Donald Trump, who himself is without question a Nazi, his behavior fosters the disruption and racist practice we saw unfold in Charolettville, Virgina. After all, was it not this terrorist who ran his presidential campaign on a racist agenda? Clearly the fundamental principle of this racist, discriminatory government is based on so called white supremacy. A devout racist was elected president to ensure and reaffirm that that callous principle remained intact.
