More Elastomer Specialties Employees Celebrating Anniversaries. May 22, 2019 Brenda Moore has been with ESI for 20 years and works in the hand and machine applied urethane casting division. Known for her hard work and excellent attitude Brenda plays a vital role in coordinating and directing projects throughout the day. When it comes to really hard work, Brenda doesn't shy away, but is usually the first to jump right in. Brenda is a BIG asset to the company.... Mike Rivera (in red t-shirt) is also celebrating 20 years at Elastomer Specialties. Mike mainly works in the surfacing preparation area of the plant where he is constantly grit blasting all types of steel products and parts. When he is not blasting, he can be found in the priming and staging area of the plant. Mike has a great work ethic and always has a smile on his face. Like Brenda, a real pleasure to work with. George Dieter (the big guy in overalls) is celebrating 10 years with ESI working in the urethane trim area. He also works all over the plant doing what is needed. He keeps everyone around him on their toes and in stitches. George always has a great attitude and always has something funny to say. George is also a great whistler. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication!

Larry Ludiker Elastomer Specialties employee from Sept. 1, 1980 to May 30, 2019. As Elastomer Specialties will be celebrating 40 years in business in September of this year, we are losing one of our longtime employees of 39 years to retirement. From the very beginning Larry has sandblasted, painted, poured and demolded urethane parts. As time passed, he started coming in early to load the machines with material and set ratios. He would inspect the parts before they went to tr...im and before they were shipped Larry checked the specifications of each part. Larry boxed parts to be shipped by UPS or FedEx or loaded parts on pallets if shipped by LTL trucks. Larry filled out the paperwork needed, invoiced the orders, wrote up all incoming POs and even made deliveries. If that wasn't enough Larry also ordered steel for production and supplies for shipping. At the present time, Larry is in shipping & receiving and deals with customer needs. He was one of the first employees and did it all. Thank you Larry for all your hard work and loyalty. We will miss you! ESI

ESI Clean Room Add On Just recently completed, Elastomer Specialties built on an additional 4500 sf of warehouse space, to the company’s existing 50,000 sf. The new, clean room addition, provides more racks in which to store previously grit blasted steel parts. Located in the new building is an extra-large paint booth and ventilation system so these parts can be primed, shelved and made ready to move into the urethane casting area of the main plant when needed. This addition... will prevent the recently grit blasted parts from airborne contamination of dust and debris prior to the priming process. A concrete Sealer/Densifier was applied to the surface of the slab when poured to eliminate future concrete dusting. It also makes clean-up much easier for the employees. The new add on addition is completely air-conditioned so the doors can all be closed during the hot summer months. See more
