Ending Hunger OKC

One year ago today, St. Luke’s Senior Pastor Dr. Bob Long said it was time for us to be the church; to take our theme of Love Your Neighbor: No Exceptions and put it into action. At the time, St. Luke’s was delivering about 750 meals per month. By the end of April, that number had grown to 4,108 meals. This month, we expect to prepare and deliver more than 9,700 meals. This was only possible through the hundreds of people who volunteered their time to Meals on Wheels and gave so generously to share God’s love and bring hope to the world one meal at a time. Thank you!

So thrilled to have our vehicle wrapped! So thankful to Impact Oklahoma for providing the vehicle, to the St. Luke's Communications team for the design, and Lettering Express for doing a great job on the wrap.

So glad to partner with Pet Food Pantry to help our senior adults with pet food needs!

Meals on Wheels Oklahoma City assistant Rachel Hatt and St. Luke's Director of Mission Engagement Candice Hillenbrand get volunteer Vicky McDowell loaded up to make our first deliveries of pet food to Meals on Wheels seniors. Very thankful for our partnership with Pet Food Pantry of Oklahoma City and for the hard work Candice and Rachel have done to make this dream a reality.
